Liebe Bluesfreunde,
ich hoffe, es geht Euch gut und Ihr hattet alle ein gesegnetes, frohes Osterfest! Jetzt kann’s wieder losgehen und ich freue mich sehr darauf, mit neuer Band und neuem Programm endlich mal wieder live für Euch zu spielen! In der Zwischenzeit war ich im Studio und habe neben zwei Alben auch eine neue Single aufgenommen – IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR THE BAD TO BE GOOD. Von der WHO-33 Tour blieben damals noch recht viele Mohnblumen-Poster übrig, diese wurden im Presswerk recycelt und zu insgesamt 1840 Single-Covern verarbeitet. Aus einem Poster konnte man zwei unterschiedliche Hüllen herstellen, der Inhalt ist jedoch der gleiche. Man kann sagen, dass es sich um eine limitierte Auflage handelt, zwar nicht streng limitiert, aber eben auf 1840 Stück :). Die A-Seite trägt den Titelsong, eine einfache Akustik Nummer mit Gesang & Gitarre. Die B-Seite wird eine kleine Überraschung und ist mit befreundeter Unterstützung entstanden. Der Titelsong hat heute Abend um 22:05 Uhr in der Sendung Bluestime im Deutschlandfunk Premiere.
Ebenfalls haben wir mal wieder ein neues T-Shirt zur Single gemacht und auf mehrfachen Wunsch auch eine Kleinstmenge der schwarzen Cable Car Records
T-Shirts nachbestellt. Single & T-Shirt können ab sofort in unserem Shop vorbestellt werden.
Die neue Band besteht aus alten Bekannten und ich freue mich auf Armin Alic am Bass, Hardy Fischötter am Schlagzeug und Moritz "Mr. Mo" Fuhrhop an der Hammond Orgel.
Es geht wieder mehr Richtung Bluesrock und wir können es kaum erwarten, die neuen Songs live zu spielen!
Der Tourkalender ist hoffnungsvoll gefüllt und es kommen immer mehr Konzerte dazu.
Wenn Ihr auch noch Ideen habt oder Euch bestimmte Songs für die Tour wünscht, schreibt mir einfach.

New Single, New T-Shirt, New Band & New Concerts!
Dear Blues Lovers,
I hope you are well and you all had a blessed, happy Easter! Now it can start and I am very much looking forward to finally play live for you again with a new band and a new program! In the meantime I was in the studio recording two albums and a new single - IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR THE BAD TO BE GOOD. There were quite a lot of Poppy-Posters left over from the WHO-33 Tour at that time, these were recycled at the pressing plant and made into a total of 1840 single covers. From one poster you could make two different covers, but with the same content. You can say that this is a limited edition, not strictly limited, but just limited to 1840 copies :). The A-side carries the title song, a simple acoustic track with vocals & guitar. The B-side will be a surprise and was created with a little help from my friends :). The title song has its premiere tonight at 22:05 in the program Bluestime on Deutschlandfunk.
We also made a new T-Shirt for the single and ordered a small quantity of the black Cable Car Records T-Shirts. Single & Shirts can be pre-ordered now at our shop.
The new band consists of old friends and I'm looking forward to Armin Alic on bass, Hardy Fischötter on drums and Moritz "Mr. Mo" Fuhrhop on Hammond organ.
It's going more towards blues rock again and we can't wait to play the new songs live!
The tour calendar is promisingly filled and more and more concerts are added.
